- Provide support and troubleshoot day to day production engineering issues to ensure smooth and stable molding operations.
- Perform optimization activities for production molds, molding machines, and molding processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Support molding production cost saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement projects.
- Support verification activities and continuous improvement initiatives originating from the Medical Assembly counterpart.
- Support sample trial runs requested by R&D and the Assembly team to enable development and qualification activities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive machine user access control system and an integrated machine process control system.
- Conduct qualification activities for injection molds and injection molding machines in accordance with approved validation protocols, ensuring proper execution and complete preparation of supporting evidence and documentation.
- Coordinate and execute periodic revalidation of injection molding processes, molds, and molding machines.
- Coordinate the production engineering change process, including planning, execution, and implementation of local change controls to ensure compliant and effective transitions of engineering updates.
- Maintain and conduct process development, process specifications, Machine Adjustment Card, and Critical Parameter activities for legacy molds to ensure sustained compliance and performance.
What you will bring to the team:
- A diploma or degree in Engineering with extensive experience in Injection Molding.
- Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting day-to-day issues related to molding production engineering.
- Experienced in leading cost-saving projects in molding production engineering.
- Skilled in optimizing and improving molds, molding machines, and molding processes.
- Capable of conducting defect analysis on molded components and implementing effective problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledgeable in advanced molding technologies.
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce defects in the molding production process.
