Job summary

Siemens Energy in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Application Engineer to join our grid technology team, supporting RFQ reviews, technical and commercial offers, and close collaboration with operations, engineering, and suppliers to optimize proposals.

You will manage tender documentation, cost analysis, and order management, leveraging SAP and Salesforce to drive successful promotions and customer value across Asia Pacific.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing quotations for service-based work.
• Experience in cost integration and risk assessment before pricing.
• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs and develop technical and commercial offers.
• Lead cost integration and risk assessment prior to pricing.
• Prepare tender documentation with BOMs, drawings, and project plans.
• Interface with operations, engineering and factories worldwide.
• Support sales during promotions and negotiations.
