Job Title: Energy Efficiency Engineer / Energy Efficiency Senior Engineer

Position: Full-time
Location: Malaysia or Vietnam

We are seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team in Asia. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic carbon / energy efficiency solutions marketplace, helping drive meaningful carbon reductions across the real estate, retail and manufacturing sectors.

This position is our first opening in the Malaysia and Vietnam market. You will be reporting to our Principal Engineer based out of the Hong Kong office and work closely with SE Asia commercial team.

This position can be a remote position or based at the office in Kuala Lumpur or HCM City. This position requires frequent business travels across Southeast Asia.

• Energy Efficiency Engineer
• Support energy assessments and audits; assess energy and water usage; provide recommendations on energy and water efficiency.
• Support Sr. Engineer in conducting analysis and preparing reports.
• Short‑term business travel will be required.
• Energy Efficiency Senior Engineer
• Conduct energy assessments and audits; assess energy and water usage; provide recommendations on energy and water efficiency.
• Support the carbon management project by providing technical support on energy‑saving measures.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and meet their expectations, coordinate work between projects and teams, ensure the quality of deliverables, and complete the project in a timely manner.
• Short‑term business travel will be required.

Skills & Capabilities:

• Energy Efficiency Engineer
• A degree in HVAC, Energy management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• ISO 50001 certified auditor preferred.
• 1-3 years working experience preferred with 3 years in industrial or commercial building auditing or managing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices and equipment including MVAC, air compressors, boilers and metering system, etc.
• Experience in the apparel and electronic industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with Chinese preferred.
• Energy Efficiency Senior Engineer
• A degree in HVAC, Energy Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• ISO 50001 certified auditor preferred.
• 5 years working experience preferred with 3 years in industrial or commercial building auditing or managing.
• Strong technical expertise and knowledge in manufacturing practices and equipment including MVAC, air compressors, boilers and metering system, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with Chinese preferred.
