Job summary

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Analyst for Energy, Climate & Resources (ECR) to support Malaysia policy analysis and client advisory. The role combines energy sector knowledge with research, stakeholder intelligence and market insights to inform investment decisions and policy positions.

You will track developments across power, renewables, gas, LNG and energy infrastructure, translate complex data into actionable findings, and work with colleagues to deliver high-quality briefs

Qualifications

• Experience in energy, power, utilities, oil and gas, renewable energy, energy infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong research and analytical skills with ability to work with fast-moving information.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Interest in public policy, regulation and energy sector dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyse developments across Malaysia’s power, electricity, renewable energy, LNG, and energy infrastructure.
• Translate technical and industry developments into actionable client insights.
• Monitor Malaysian policies affecting energy and climate sectors.
• Develop stakeholder maps and intelligence for client advisory.
