Job summary

BowerGroupAsia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Analyst to combine technical credibility with policy insight in technology and digital infrastructure advisory for clients across the Indo-Pacific.

You will analyse data centres, cloud, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and related regulatory developments, translating technical findings into actionable policy advice and supporting multinational teams on complex technology investments.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in technology, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, or closely related sectors.
• Strong technical understanding of data centres, cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, cybersecurity, semiconductors or digital infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; familiarity with policy and regulatory environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a source of technical and industry expertise for BGA Malaysia’s technology-related client work.
• Analyse developments across data centres, cloud computing, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, cybersecurity, semiconductors, digital platforms and other emerging technologies.
• Translate complex technical developments into clear commercial, policy and strategic implications for clients.
• Monitor and analyse Malaysian policies, regulations and government initiatives affecting technology and digital infrastructure.
• Develop government affairs and public policy strategies grounded in technology and sector expertise.
