Job summary

BowerGroupAsia (BGA) seeks a Senior Analyst, Technology & Digital Infrastructure for its Malaysia team in Kuala Lumpur. The role sits at the intersection of technology, infrastructure and public policy, requiring deep technical knowledge and the ability to translate developments into policy and business advice for clients.

You will analyse data centres, cloud, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies; monitor Malaysian policy and regulation; engage stakeholders; and help

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant professional experience in technology, digital infrastructure, or related sector.
• Experience with data centres, cloud, AI infrastructure or network infrastructure preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English; Bahasa Malaysia preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS/IT or related technical discipline is preferred.
• Reporting to Managing Director, Malaysia; based in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and industry expertise for BGA Malaysia’s technology-related client work.
• Analyse data centres, cloud computing, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.
• Translate complex technical developments into policy, regulatory and business implications for clients.
• Monitor Malaysian policies, regulations and government initiatives affecting technology.
• Prepare analytical memos, policy assessments, stakeholder maps, engagement strategies and presentations.
