Job summary

Manulife, a leading financial services provider, invites experienced professionals to join our product implementation function in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate UAT, and ensure timely, quality project outcomes across departments.

You will work in a hybrid environment with emphasis on maintaining confidentiality and professional interactions with stakeholders at all levels. A strong background in life insurance or project management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience within the life insurance industry and/or project management roles.
• A genuine passion for projects/products delivery, with ownership and accountability for results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to convey information clearly and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Study and assess product design with stakeholders to scope requirements/changes for product launch.
• Plan and execute end-to-end product implementation process and timeline, monitor progress and risk to meet requirements.
• Secure and coordinate UAT resources and timelines, optimizing time and scope for multiple initiatives.
• Monitor product development resources, timeline, and scope to ensure delivery of key projects.
• Coordinate and conduct Product Implementation Team (PIT) meetings, Post-Implementation Review, and internal briefings.
• Establish transparency and communication to stakeholders on project updates.
• Prepare/conduct product setups: plan codes, plan group codes, etc.
• Conduct compatibility and functionality tests, pre- and post-production verification on systems.
• Manage Day-2 items due by deadline; manage backlog and prioritize user stories in sprint planning.
• Monitor overall Product/Project Calendar resources, timeline, and scope; mitigate delivery risks.
