Carsem in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking an experienced End-of-Line (EOL) Process Staff Engineer to support and optimize molding, singulation, laser marking, trim & form, and auto vision operations on the production floor.

You will drive yield and quality improvements, manage FMEA and process specifications, and prepare documentation for customer audits while mentoring technicians and coordinating with the operations team to ensure smooth runs.

Qualifications

• Experience in EOL processes such as molding, laser marking, trim & form, and singulation.
• Strong problem-solving to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Experience supporting customer audits and preparing process documents.
• Ability to mentor technicians and work with cross-functional teams.

End-of-Line (EOL) Process Staff Engineer (Molding and Singulation)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven End-of-Line (EOL) Process Engineer to support and enhance our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in EOL processes such as molding, laser marking, trim & form, singulation, and auto vision systems, with a focus on improving yield, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process Improvement & Yield Enhancement

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance EOL yield, quality, and productivity

Focus on critical EOL processes such as molding, marking, trim & form, singulation, and auto vision

Identify root causes of process issues and implement effective corrective actions

2. Customer Audit & Engagement

Support customer audits and production line visits

Prepare and deliver presentations on process flow and qualification activities

Ensure readiness of documentation and compliance with customer requirements

3. FMEA & Process Specification Management

Perform periodic reviews and updates of FMEA and process specifications

Ensure process documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational standards

4. Cost Saving Initiatives

Initiate and implement cost reduction activities through process optimization and material changes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental cost-saving targets

Mentor and guide process technicians on the production floor
