Job summary

CONGATEC ASIA EMBEDDED DESIGN SDN. BHD. is seeking a Verification Engineer in Malaysia to ensure quality and reliability of embedded computer products.

You will conduct hardware measurements, high-speed signal tests, and participate in product validation and documentation. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electronics, experience with oscilloscopes, schematic reading, and familiarity with PCIe/USB/SATA; Linux knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience using test/measurement equipment such as oscilloscope.
• Familiar with electronics components and able to read schematics for hardware measurement/troubleshooting.
• Familiar with PCIe, USB, SATA; advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux environment and peripheral configurations; advantage.
• Experience with standards, compliance testing, or certification processes; advantage.
• Positive attitude and good team player.

Responsibilities

• Define, plan and execute hardware measurement tests.
• Perform high speed signal compliance measurements on embedded computer modules/carrier boards.
• Perform low speed signal integrity measurements.
• Perform power rail measurements.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues clearly.
• Support root cause analysis for hardware and software-related failures.
• Support certification and product qualification testing as required.
• Support the release process by ensuring product quality, stability, and compliance with defined requirements.
• Create clear measurement reports and technical documentation.
