Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is hiring an Experienced Testing Engineer to drive end-to-end testing for NPI programs on device and system levels. You will translate requirements into tests, collaborate with developers, and reproduce issues to ensure robust quality.

Gen AI capabilities in the test framework are a plus. The role requires a IT/CS/CE/EE degree, strong English communication, and on-site presence in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/CE/EE or equivalent.
• Fluent communication in English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of Test Methodology and applying it to test scope.
• Experience with Video Monitoring Systems, Client-Server setup and Mobile App setups.
• Basic programming in Python.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage customer situations and set expectations.
• Good PC skills.
• On-site position preferred for local candidates.
• CTFL certification is a bonus.
• Experience with Agile Methodology and Gen AI in testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform End to End Test on NPI program at device as well as system level.
• Perform first level of root-cause analysis of problems to formulate improved operations.
• Work with business and development to formulate test strategy.
• Translate requirements into manual/automated test cases.
• Collaborate with engineering to reproduce and validate issues.
• Raise issues found during testing and track to resolution.
• Incorporate Gen AI into the test environment/framework.
