Job summary

Innowave Tech Sdn. Bhd. in Penang seeks an Embedded Systems Engineer to deploy and integrate the InnoConnect solution at customer semiconductor fabs.

This on-site role blends firmware and software development with hands-on field work. You will survey equipment, analyze signals and interfaces, define integration approaches and implement across factory fieldbus, industrial protocols and plant networks. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, C/C++ firmware expertise, and

Qualifications

Legally eligible to work in Malaysia without visa sponsorship.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
On-site deployment, commissioning and equipment survey with hands-on skills.
Able to analyse serial (RS-232/RS-485/UART), USB and video signals.
Familiar with factory fieldbus/industrial protocols and plant networking.
Working knowledge of Docker, Windows and Linux, and CI/CD.
Familiarity with semiconductor factory equipment is an advantage.
Good command of English; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
Embedded programming with C/C++; Python or C# a plus.

Responsibilities

Deploy and commission integration devices on-site at customer fabs.
Survey customer equipment, analyse signals and interfaces, and define the integration approach.
Integrate equipment across factory fieldbus / industrial protocols and the plant network.
Develop and debug the embedded firmware and software of the InnoConnect product.
