Job summary

Quectel Wireless Solutions Penang Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an embedded systems professional to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. The role involves designing, developing, and debugging embedded components, peripherals, and network features for our cellular IoT modules.

You will collaborate with pre-sales and marketing to prepare product overviews and demos, while creating prototypes to showcase technology capabilities and writing technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, electronics, telecommunication or related majors.
• Proficiency programming skill in C/C++, Python language or Linux
• Experience in developing or designing products or projects such as TRACKER, SOUNDBOX, SMART-Meter
• Analyze and understand existing product on the market.
• Ability to collaborate with pre-sales/marketing teams to prepare product pre-sales presentations, such as product overviews, demos

Responsibilities

• Participate in customer demand assessment, technical solution output, technical research/prototype design, component selection.
• Participate in developing and debugging various peripheral drivers (LCD, PHY, SLIC, etc.) according to the project and customer requirements.
• Participate in developing and debugging various network issues (TCP/IP, HTTP/s, MQTT, etc.) according to the project and customer requirements.
• Develop, maintain, customize, and improve the modular and scalable of embedded systems components.
• Create prototypes to demonstrate technology capabilities.
• Respond to technical queries and requirements of company's customers.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

Job Description:
