Job summary

Quectel is seeking a dedicated RF Test Engineer to execute RF performance, power, EMC, and signal integrity tests for 2G/3G/4G/5G, Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi products. The role involves documenting test results and supporting related engineering and sales teams in issue resolution.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in electronic, information, or wireless engineering, strong English communication, and at least 2 years in an R&D environment. Willingness to travel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic, information, or wireless communication engineering.
• Fluency in English for daily work communication.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an R&D Centre.
• Experience in developing test cases, test plans and familiarity with test specifications.
• Strong understanding of the tested unit hardware.

Responsibilities

• Execute Radio Frequency Performance Test Cases for 2G/3G/4G/5G/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi products.
• Execute power consumption, audio, EMC, signal integrity test cases.
• Execute use case testing for producible categories of 2G/3G/4G/5G/Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi products.
• Verify versions, golden boards, production testing tools and fixtures.
• Document detailed test reports and concise test findings for customers.
• Develop a simple project testing strategy.
• Support FAE/sales/certification teams in resolving test issues.
• Submit test bugs and track the closed loop.

Job Description:

• Execute Radio Frequency Performance Test Cases for 2G/3G/4G/5G/BT/Wi-Fi Products.
• Execute power consumption, audio, EMC, signal integrity test cases.
• Execute the use case testing for the producible categories of 2G/3G/4G/5G/BT/WIFI product.
• Execute the verification of the version, golden board, production testing tools, and fixtures.
• Document detail test reports of product, create concise summary of the test findings for customer reference.
• Develop a simple project testing strategy.
• Support FAE/sales/certification teams in resolving test issues.
• Submit test bugs and track the closed loop.

Requirements:

• Language skills: Fluency in English is essential for daily work communication.
• Bachelor's degree in electronic, information, or wireless communication engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electronic, telecommunications, computer science.
• Experience in developing test cases, test plan and familiar with test specification.
• Possess a strong understanding of the tested unit’s hardware.
• Able to analyze test data accuracy and solve the test environment problem during the testing.
• Proficient in using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies, network analyzers, and integrated meters.
• Preference for candidates with testing experience in RF, EMC, Reliability, and Signal Integrity.
• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols is desirable.
• Ability to adapt to diverse cultural and work environments, with a willingness to travel if necessary.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in R&D Centre.
