Job summary

HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an ambitious Premier Manager, Puchong, to lead a team of relationship managers delivering premier banking services to high net worth clients. The role focuses on deepening client relationships, driving revenue growth and delivering tailored wealth solutions across the Premier and Premier Elite portfolios.

The candidate will manage cross-functional teams, drive cross-sell to grow AUM, and ensure compliance with Shariah and banking regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 6 to 9 years in a sales leadership role managing wealth sales team performance with a high service standard.
• Proven track record of managing a large and complex relationship portfolio.
• Excellent commercial acumen, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Conversant in Shariah knowledge and competency.
• Highly motivated and flexible in working across complex cross-functional structures.
• Must be able to make independent decisions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop action plans and execute strategies to acquire new Premier and Premier Elite customers and grow relationships.
• Actively manage Premier and Premier Elite portfolio with personalised banking and wealth solutions.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to grow assets under management (AUM).
• Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve targets aligned with the wealth management strategy.
• Lead Premier Sales team to deliver Wealth Management targets and improve staff productivity.
• Grow Wealth, Amanah, to deliver business plans.
• Uphold customer-first culture and high service standards; promote digital banking platforms.
• Ensure risk controls, confidentiality and Shariah compliance across activities.
• Recruit, mentor and coach Relationship Managers to achieve targets and growth.
