Job summary

Armor Metal Precision Sdn Bhd in Batu Pahat, Johor, seeks a capable leader to oversee daily plating operations, ensuring safe and efficient production. You will develop and control plating processes, chemical parameters and bath maintenance while troubleshooting defects as they arise.

Responsibilities include ensuring quality, environmental and safety compliance, driving process improvements and cost reduction, and supervising the Water Treatment Plant and chemical laboratory functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operation of plating lines to ensure stable, safe and efficient production.
• Develop, optimize and control plating process, chemical parameters and bath maintenance.
• Troubleshoot plating defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental and safety management systems.
• Plan and execute process improvement, cost reduction, and yield enhancement projects.
• Supervise and guide Engineer responsible for Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) and chemical laboratory functions.
• Review WWTP performance, effluent compliance, and laboratory test results.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality and Maintenance team to support manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Support audits, customer requirements and regulatory compliance related to plating and chemical usage
