Job summary

BETWEEN is seeking an Electronics Validation Tester to join a long-term project in the Large Format Printing (LFP) business. You will validate electronic components and assemblies (PCA/PCBA) for printing products, define and execute validation plans, perform functional testing, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and suppliers.

This permanent full-time role is onsite in the Johor Bahru area with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics validation, testing, or hardware verification activities.
• Fluent English.

We are looking for an Electronics Validation Tester to join a long-term project within the Large Format Printing (LFP) business. The selected candidate will support the validation and verification of electronic components used in the development and manufacturing of printing systems. This position plays a key role in ensuring the proper performance and reliability of electronic boards, cables, interconnections, and new electronic components through testing, analysis, and validation activities.

Main responsibilities

• Validate electronic components and assemblies (PCA/PCBA) for printing products.
• Define, execute, and document validation and verification plans.
• Perform functional testing and analysis of electronic systems.
• Support component changes related to AoS (Assurance of Supply) and EOL (End of Life) initiatives.
• Identify risks associated with component substitutions and product modifications.
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
• Support issue investigation and root cause analysis activities.
• Coordinate validation activities to ensure implementation deadlines are achieved.
• Fluent communication in English with international teams.

How you will work

• You will work onsite at client's facilities in the Johor Bahru area.
• Standard office hours, Monday to Friday.
• Permanent full-time position from day one.
• Monthly salary between MYR 5,000 and MYR 7,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• You will work in an international environment alongside global engineering and manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics validation, testing, or hardware verification activities.
• Practical experience performing functional and electrical testing of electronic systems.
• Knowledge of signal analysis, power measurements, and hardware validation methodologies.
• Experience validating PCBs, electronic assemblies, cables, and interconnections.
• Experience in the printing, manufacturing, electronics, industrial, or automotive sectors will be highly valued.
• Fluent English.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
