Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Process Technician to support production, resolve process issues, and assist Process Engineering with qualifications and improvements. You will fabricate and maintain jigs/fixtures and handle daily set-ups for wave soldering and aqueous cleaning systems.

The role involves setting up manual assembly lines, performing preventive maintenance, and analyzing data for key processes. Rework experience is a plus, and shift work is required.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma preferred with SMT/HLA/Rework experience or equivalent.
• Hardware/final assembly (soldering iron) experience in PCBA assembly is an added advantage.
• Rework experience is highly encouraged; ability to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supports production in resolving process issues.
• Supports Process Engineering with process and equipment qualifications and improvements.
• Fabricates and maintains manufacturing jigs/fixtures.
• Performs daily set-up of Back-of-Line equipment, wave-soldering machine and aqueous cleaner.
• Performs setup and layout of manual assembly lines.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance of wave soldering machine and Back-of-Line equipment.
• Compiles and analyzes statistical data for critical processes.
• Creates profile boards and sets up profile parameters for wave soldering and re-flow machines.
• Has the authority to make decisions to support production processes quality and yield.
• Performs any additional duties as assigned by management.
