Job summary

Hi-P International is seeking a technician to troubleshoot and repair failed PCBAs and electronic products. You will perform failure analysis, conduct component-level testing, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring issues.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Electronics or related fields, basic schematics reading, and experience with testing equipment along with strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA troubleshooting, debugging, repair, or failure analysis is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Able to read basic electrical/electronic schematics.
• Able to use basic electronic testing equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and debug failed PCBAs and electronic products.
• Perform failure analysis to identify the cause of product failures.
• Conduct component-level testing and identify defective components.
• Perform repair and rework of defective components when required.
• Record failure symptoms, findings, and repair results.
• Prepare basic failure analysis reports.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, Test, and Process teams to resolve recurring issues.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
