Job summary
Pingspace is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join our R&D Electronics Engineering team in Penang, Malaysia. You will own the complete electronics hardware lifecycle for warehouse robotic systems, from concept through PCB design, prototyping, testing, and production release.
The role emphasizes hands‑on hardware development, analogue/digital/mixed‑signal design, and power electronics, with close collaboration with software, mechanical, and production teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3–4 years of relevant R&D experience in electrical & electronics / mechatronics system design engineering.
- Master's or PhD with 1–3 years of relevant R&D experience in electrical & electronics / mechatronics system design engineering.
- Fresh graduates with strong electronics theory and project work are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyse, and develop electrical and electronic circuit solutions for warehouse robotic systems.
- Develop electronics solutions from engineering requirements and circuit theory.
- Apply analogue, digital, mixed‑signal, and power electronics to product development challenges.
- Develop power and control system circuit designs including isolation and protection.
- Create complete electronics hardware designs from concept through PCB design and production release.
- Build, bring up, and test hardware prototypes with ownership of the hardware lifecycle.
- Perform debugging and root‑cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Plan and support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and product development activities.
