Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a production assembler to assemble electronic component parts, including preparation, placement, and installation, under the supervision of the Production Supervisor.

You will perform manual assembly in an ESD-controlled environment, adhere to quality, health, safety, and security standards, and participate in training, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role can involve 12-hour rotating day/weekend/night shifts.

Qualifications

• SPM/SPMV/certificate from a recognized institute.
• 2–5 years experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Basic English (read and write).
• High level of discipline and reliability.
• Knowledge of electronic components handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components per procedures, specs and quality standards.
• Prepare, place and install all component parts.
• Report deviations to supervisor and follow work instructions.
• Conduct simple repairs/touch-ups as required.
• Participate in 5S, safety procedures and team quality initiatives.
