Job summary

ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOARD REPAIR is seeking an Electronic PCB Repair Technician (Component‑level) in Malaysia. The role requires hands‑on experience with micro‑level repairs, SMT/BGA rework, and diagnostic testing on multi‑layer PCBs.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in component repair, with senior roles available for those with 5+ years of BGA/IC rework experience. Strong eyesight and independent work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive hands‑on experience may substitute for a formal degree.
• Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience in component‑level electronics repair.
• Senior roles are available for technicians with 5+ years of advanced BGA/IC rework experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform component‑level troubleshooting and repair on multi‑layer PCBs.
• Diagnose root causes of circuit failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, ESR meters, and logic analyzers.
• Read and interpret schematic diagrams, circuit layouts, and technical datasheets.
• Execute precision micro‑soldering, including SMT, BGA, and through‑hole components.
• Refurbish, test, and validate repaired boards to meet quality and performance standards.
• Document repair actions, failure trends, and parts used.
