Job summary

Teradyne Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical design engineer to join our hardware team in Malaysia. You will translate requirements into detailed designs, produce drawings and BOMs, and prototype concepts for validation.

Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, design documentation, and engaging with remote teams. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of electro-mechanical design experience and strong CAD/FEA skills, with remote collaboration tooling

Qualifications

5+ years of electro-mechanical design experience.
Expertise with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools and PDM systems.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal and machined part design.
Experience with stress/strain analysis and FEA.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Signal Integrity, and Mechanical teams to understand requirements.
Develop and maintain design documentation and BOMs.
Manage signal delivery project schedules across design, prototyping, testing, and NPI.
Create design concepts and participate in reviews with vendors and engineers.
Develop test plans with architects and interpret SI test results.
