Job summary

Teradyne is seeking a Hardware Engineer for Nextest projects in Penang. The role involves transforming product requirements into detailed designs, building prototypes for validation, and delivering BOMs for fabrication.

Collaboration with hardware, software, and mechanical teams is essential, with emphasis on DFx, remote communication, and proactive problem solving. The candidate should have strong SolidWorks and PDM usage, sheet metal and machined parts experience, and familiarity with signal

Qualifications

5+ years of electro-mechanical design experience.
Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
Ability to present design proposals to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Signal Integrity, and Mechanical engineering teams.
Develop and maintain design documentation and BOMs.
Create test plans and validate signal integrity requirements.
Prepare design concepts and participate in design reviews.
Coordinate with architects to ensure test plans meet requirements.
Create ECNs to document design changes.
Produce high level documentation communicating designs.
