Job summary

TECHNOLGENT SDN BHD seeks a capable Tender Executive and Manager (Construction) to oversee the end-to-end bidding process for new contracts in the electrical sector. You will conduct quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns from M&E drawings, and prepare tender documentation to secure projects.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in electrical estimating or quantity surveying, the ability to read single-line diagrams, and strong negotiation with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in electrical estimating or quantity surveying.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-line diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft and Autocad.
• Good communication and coordination skills with consultants, clients, suppliers, and project teams.
• Meticulous, organized, and committed to delivering accurate tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the end-to-end bidding/tender process to secure new business contracts.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements and cost breakdowns based on M&E drawings, specifications and contract documents.
• Source, obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors and vendors, including cost comparisons and negotiation where required.
• Preparation of bill of quantities, cost analysis, and tender documentation.
• Negotiating favourable terms and prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
