Job summary

Linktel Technologies in Penang is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to manage daily and yearly maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in our facility. You will oversee M&E equipment, ensure reliability, and coordinate with contractors to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a vocational diploma in Electrical & Mechanical, 2–3 years of related experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

Good command of written and spoken English. Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
Possess Vocational Diploma or certification in Electrical & Mechanical
At least 2-3 years working experience in related fields
Well verse in M&E installation
Familiar with the relevant standards of cleanroom workshops
Proficiency in using common office software such as AUTOCAD, EXCEL, WORD
Have high security awareness and certain risk identification ability

Responsibilities

Handle daily / yearly maintenance activities in facilities especially on electrical and mechanical work.
Oversee all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) equipment and installation and ensure all are in good and proper working order based on maintenance plan.
Maintaining the building’s electrical supply and reticulation system, installations, and equipment.
Day to day operations of the entire facility, electrical installation and monitoring on high voltage facility equipment’s performance. This will also include overseeing production equipment, maintenance and contractor work arrangement.
Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical fault circuit/system and provide recommendation to minimize re-occurrence or long term solution.
To ensure all laws and regulations related to electrical system and installation are complied with the authority.
