Job summary

Continental Tyre PJ Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Electrician for on-site work in Petaling Jaya.

The role involves fault finding, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects. Kandidats with 1-2 years of electrical experience and relevant ILP/SKM/Diploma qualifications are encouraged to apply. The position is full-time and on-site, with potential shift work and a focus on safety and reliability in a tyre manufacturing

Qualifications

1-2 years of working electrical experience.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read and interpret simple electrical specifications and diagrams.
Willing to work in shifts/ extended hours.
Physically fit to perform bending, lifting and long hours of standing.

Responsibilities

Fault finding, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems (AC motors, wiring, pneumatics, hydraulics).
Read and interpret simple electrical specifications, wiring and circuit diagrams.
Install and wire single-phase and three-phase accessories.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and monitor electro-mechanical systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects and work autonomously when needed.
