Teck Guan Group is seeking an Electrical Technician based in Tawau, Sabah. You will assist in diagnosing faults, perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems, and help with rewiring and installation tasks in the plant.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, basic electrical knowledge, and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates should be able to climb ladders and lift equipment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualificações

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical work or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Assist electrical technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting faults in machinery.
• Help with preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, motors, sensors, and lighting systems.
• Assist with rewiring, cable pulling, wire termination and installation of conduits and fixtures.
• Ensure tools and testing devices are stored safely and maintained in good condition.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work area and follow 5S principles in workshop and plant floor.

Assist electrical technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults in machinery.

Help carry out routine preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical equipment, motors, sensors, switches and lighting systems.

Assist with rewiring, cable pulling, wire termination and the installation of electrical conduits, fixtures and equipment as directed.

Ensure tools and testing devices are handled and stored safely and maintained in good working condition.

Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area by practising good housekeeping and following 5S principles in the workshop and on the plant floor.

Qualifications & Skills:-

Minimum SPM qualification, or a Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation or a related technical field.

1-3 years of experience in electrical work or a related field.

Basic understanding of electrical diagrams, schematics and wiring codes.

Good problem-solving skills and a strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.

Able to carry out plant tasks, including climbing ladders and lifting equipment.

A good team player who can follow instructions and work effectively with technicians.
