Job summary

Apex Integrated Works Sdn Bhd is seeking an Electrical Technician with basic electrical knowledge and hands-on wiring experience to join our team in Malaysia. The role involves working on commercial, renovation and building maintenance projects, with opportunities to learn troubleshooting, site inspection and more.

Fresh graduates with good practical skills are encouraged to apply. You must be reliable, punctual, and willing to follow instructions while handling tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Have basic electrical knowledge.
• Have hands-on wiring experience.
• Have worked as an electrical helper or technician before OR recently graduated from SKM, ILP, IKBN, GiatMARA, community college, polytechnic or another electrical/vocational programme.
• Fresh graduates with good practical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Comes to work on time.
• Is responsible.
• Takes care of tools and equipment.
• Is willing to learn.
• Can follow instructions.
• Is not afraid of site work.

Responsibilities

• Electrical wiring and cable pulling.
• Install lights, switches, sockets and electrical accessories.
• Install conduit, trunking and cable containment.
• Assist with distribution board and MCB works.
• Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Replace faulty electrical components.
• Assist with site inspections.
• Attend commercial, office, retail and building maintenance projects.
• Take site photos and report work progress.
• Assist senior personnel or competent wireman when required.

Job description

This position is suitable for someone who already has basic hands-on electrical knowledge and wants to gain more experience working on real commercial, renovation and building maintenance projects. You do not need to know everything. We are looking for someone reliable, willing to learn and comfortable working with their hands.

Key responsibilities

Electrical wiring and cable pulling

Install lights, switches, sockets and electrical accessories

Install conduit, trunking and cable containment

Assist with distribution board and MCB works

Basic electrical testing and troubleshooting
