Job summary

METEX STEEL SDN BHD is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical systems, machinery and industrial automation equipment at Nilai.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance, reliability of control systems, and providing technical support to ensure smooth plant operations while adhering to safety SOPs.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery and industrial automation equipment.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition and minimise breakdowns and downtime.
• Maintain and ensure the reliability of electrical control systems and equipment to support production requirements.
• Provide technical and maintenance support to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, SOPs and procedures.

Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, machinery and industrial automation equipment.

Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition and minimise breakdowns and downtime.

Maintain and ensure the reliability of electrical control systems and equipment to support production requirements.

Provide technical and maintenance support to ensure smooth plant operations.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies, SOPs and procedures.

Work Location: Nilai Utama Enterprise Park, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan
Requirement(s):

Certificate / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics or equivalent.

Relevant working experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.

Able to work independently as well as effectively within a maintenance team.
