Job summary

Star Media Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance on LV equipment, standby generators, and related electrical systems. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults on MSSB and related gear, requiring hands-on experience with power tools and control panels.

The candidate should maintain documentation, assist the supervisor, and be prepared to work shift duties with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• A valid certificate (A0, A1, or A4 level chargeman) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly & monthly periodic maintenance for LV equipment, standby genset, and related services.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical failures on MSSB, LV standby genset, equipment, lighting, wiring systems and accessories with minimal supervision.
• Prefer hands-on experience with power tools and equipment on MSSB, Sub DB, control panels, UPS systems, etc.
• Ensure all documentation, checklists, PMs and servicing are updated for the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• To perform daily, weekly & monthly periodic schedule and preventive maintenance for all LV equipment's, standby genset and other related services.
• To troubleshoot and rectify electrical failure on voltage panels (MSSB), LV standby genset, electrical equipment's, lightings, wiring system and accessories with minimal supervision.
• Preferably with hands on experience in handing power tools, equipments on MSSB, Sub DB, Control panel, UPS sys and etc.
• To ensure all documentations, checklist, PM and servicing have been carried out and updated accordingly to immediate supervisor.
• To work closely as team with colloquies and assist immediate superior in any task / new project.
• To always practice and follow work procedures, housekeeping, safety policies and comply to ST regulations relating to electrical system.
• Must able to work on shift duty's, positive attitude and maintain punctuality at work.
