Job summary

BigHire seeks an engineer to design, implement, and test control and protection systems for substations from 11kV to 500kV. You will manage projects, integrate equipment, and perform testing of panels on site, with opportunities to participate in retrofitting works and other duties as assigned.

The role requires a degree or equivalent, 1 year of related experience, and strong skills in communication, negotiation, and problem solving. Proficiency in MS Office and CAD tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year related experience; industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, self-disciplined, and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Engineering of control and protection systems for substations from 11kV to 500kV.
• Project implementation and management; attend project meetings as required.
• Responsible for system integration of equipment and systems.
• Testing of Control and Protection Panels.
• Attends site modification, retrofitting and replacement works.
• Other duties as assigned.
