Job summary

BD Electrical Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our engineering team in Puncak Alam, Selangor. This full-time role oversees electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency while coordinating with clients, suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree with 2–3 years of project or site-based experience, strong knowledge of electrical systems, CAD proficiency, and excellent organisational

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 2–3 years of experience in project engineering or site-based engineering roles within electrical/construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and industrial installations.
• Proficiency with CAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Dialux advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical engineering projects from initiation through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines for on-time delivery.
• Conduct site inspections to assess requirements and challenges.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Manage resources including equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Monitor progress and report status to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on sites.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Identify and resolve project issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support estimation and tender processes for new projects.
