Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer to execute relay testing, commissioning and electrical automation at our data center site. You will work on-site, ensure safety and quality standards, and support integrated automation systems with stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of site experience in relay testing, commissioning, and electrical automation, with willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with relay testing, commissioning and electrical automation.
• Knowledge of data center infrastructure and high-voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee relay testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Support the implementation and integration of automation systems at the data center site.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, test reports, and commissioning records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation and commissioning phases.
• Provide on-site technical support and guidance to subcontractors and junior engineers.
• Participate in customer meetings and provide updates on project progress.
