Job summary

Evyap is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to reliably operate and maintain plant electrical systems, lead maintenance and energy-efficiency initiatives, and ensure compliance with local standards. The role requires coordinating with utility partners and managing contractors to deliver safe, cost-effective projects in a chemical/oleochemical environment.

Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in electrical maintenance or project execution, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Experience with RCA/CAPA and electrical failure investigations.

Responsibilities

• Execute plant improvement, modification and expansion projects from engineering through commissioning.
• Ensure 33kV/11kV/415V network assets are reliable and safe.
• Plan and monitor Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
• Lead RCA and corrective actions for electrical failures and recurring issues.
• Monitor plant energy consumption and drive energy efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ST CoC/CoR and electrical safety requirements.
• Coordinate with TNB on power supply and outages.
• Prepare technical estimations, specifications, and cost evaluations for projects.
• Manage electrical contractors and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
• Supervise the electrical maintenance team and develop staff.
