Job summary

Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to ensure safe, reliable operation of building services and lab utilities at the SEAP R&D Centre in Glenmarie Shah Alam.

The role involves preventive/corrective maintenance, statutory compliance, and rapid response to equipment breakdowns, reporting to the Facility Manager. Applicants should have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a related degree, and a strong knowledge of electrical safety, testing and

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in commercial/industrial facilities.
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or Building Services.
Experience with electrical safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect and maintain low-voltage electrical systems and switchgear.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and building services.
Coordinate contractors and ensure safe, compliant work practices.
Maintain records, inspections, and logbooks; respond to emergencies promptly.
