Job summary

Jotun is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to ensure safe, reliable operation of the SEAP R&D Centre’s building services and electrical installations in Glenmarie Shah Alam. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support compliance, and coordinate contractors.

Based with Facility Manager, you will inspect electrical systems, assist commissioning of lab equipment, maintain records and respond to facility emergencies, aiming for high safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate preferred.
Experience with Building Management Systems or CMMS is an advantage.
Proficiency in verbal and written English is required.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain low-voltage electrical systems incl. switchboards, generators, UPS, and panels.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and pumps.
Inspect plant rooms for abnormal conditions and leaks.
Coordinate and supervise maintenance contractors to ensure safe work.
Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
