Job summary

GYD Trading in Malaysia is seeking a trainee electrician or recent graduate to assist senior electricians with wiring installations and routine maintenance. Training provided will support hands-on learning across wiring tasks and safety practices.

You will read electrical blueprints, interpret diagrams, and apply basic troubleshooting under supervision, while maintaining a clean, organized worksite and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Dual pursuit or recent completion of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring principles.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions accurately.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians with wiring installations and maintenance tasks.
