Job summary

Eaton Group in Malaysia, Johor Bahru/Kulai, is hiring a Service Engineer to install and commission electrical systems at client sites, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and provide on-call support. The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience.

You will read schematics, use meters and testers, ensure safety and quality, participate in SAT/UAT/FAT, and maintain tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or related Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant electrical equipment experience.
• Ability to assemble, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Hands-on use of electrical test instruments.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission electrical systems at client locations.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to identify issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures.
• Perform onsite repairs during breakdowns or warranty claims.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support when needed.
• Maintain tooling and ensure 100% availability.
• Support QMS and continuous improvement.
• Engage in site meetings and inspections.
