Job summary

AG STAFFING seeks Electrical Engineers (Data Centre Construction) in Johor Bahru to own and manage the data centre power infrastructure from HT utility connections to server racks, ensuring continuous, redundant power distribution.

You will supervise HT/MV/LV switchgear installations, transformers, diesel generators, UPS, and PDUs, and lead site testing, including insulation tests, relay calibration, and load bank tests, while liaising with utility providers and regulators to energize and

• Experience supervising electrical installations for data centres or similar facilities.
• Ability to coordinate with utility providers and regulators.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to local codes.

Responsibilities

• Power Infrastructure Build: Supervise the installation of HT/MV/LV switchgears, transformers, diesel generators, UPS systems, and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Testing Oversight: Lead the site testing for electrical systems, including insulation testing, protection relay calibration, and load bank testing.
• Authority Liaison: Coordinate with local utility providers (like TNB) and regulatory bodies for testing, energization, and permanent power connection.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations comply with local safety standards, electrical grid codes, and site health guidelines.
