Job summary

IJM Corporation Berhad is seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist the M&E Manager with planning and execution of electrical scope per project schedule.

The role requires coordinating with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams as well as subcontractors to maintain a smooth workflow and timely delivery of milestones. You will oversee external works, ensure DCOS integration, and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in building/M&E projects.
• Basic understanding of the operations and processes in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of local business and government rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist M&E Manager in planning and execution of electrical scope per project schedule.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, architectural teams and subcontractors for smooth workflow.
• Oversee external works: street lighting, manholes, HV/LV/ELV ducting and HDD.
• Ensure integration of DCOS with electrical systems (power monitoring, efficiency, alarms).
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Maintain records of installation, test results and commissioning reports.
