Job summary

A leading electrical engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a professional to oversee the electrical components of new projects. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating inspections, and supervising subcontractors to ensure compliance with technical requirements. Candidates must have a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering and relevant certifications. This role requires travel to project sites across Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in M&E working in the construction/power plant industry.
• At least L1/L4/11kV/33kV/132KV/275KV certification from Suruhanjaya Tenaga/SEB is required.
• Ability to travel or be located at project sites in West Malaysia/Sarawak/Sabah/Brunei.

Responsibilities

• Validate, design and approve activities related to electrical parts of new projects.
• Coordinate site and office staff, managing documentation flow.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications.
