IJM Corporation Berhad in Malaysia seeks an Electrical Engineer–Energy Marshal to manage and coordinate hazardous energy controls for data centre commissioning, focusing on LOTO, EIP, energization, and safety.

The role requires Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical or Power Engineering and 2 years of experience in data centers or similar, with Project Energy Marshal training a plus and Chargeman competency; you will supervise energization/de-energization on-site and coordinate energy-control

Formación

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
2 years of experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, semiconductor plants, or electrical commissioning.
Completion of Project Energy Marshal training and authorization is a Plus.
Relevant ST electrical competency (e.g., Chargeman) is an added advantage.

Responsabilidades

Manage and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements, group LOTO, and lockbox arrangements.
Coordinate Energy Isolation Plans (EIP) and conduct associated risk assessments.
Supervise all energization, de-energization, and commissioning activities on-site.
Verify energy control readiness before work proceeds and perform field audits on hazardous energy controls.
Coordinate energy-control workflows across construction, MEP, commissioning, and operations teams.
