Job summary

NCL ENERGY SDN BHD invites applications for a Project Manager - Electrical Data Center to lead the end-to-end delivery of the electrical package for data center projects in Malaysia. This role requires coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and vendors to meet scope, schedule and budget, while ensuring safety and compliance with standards.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in construction/M&E with 3–5 years in a PM or senior leadership role and proven experience in MV/LV power distribution

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant construction / M&E project experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a Project Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in Data Center projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience managing electrical packages including MV/LV systems, power distribution, switchgear and testing & commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall execution of the assigned electrical package for Data Center projects.
• Develop and maintain project execution plans, work programmes, manpower plans and construction schedules.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and implement corrective actions for delays.
• Coordinate site activities to meet contractual requirements, drawings, specs and milestones.
• Coordinate and monitor Testing & Commissioning activities for electrical systems and ensure proper documentation.
• Act as main coordination point with client, consultants, main contractor, subcontractors and vendors; attend meetings and communicate instructions.
