Job summary

UACJ Foil Corporation is seeking an Electrical Maintenance professional to lead preventive maintenance programs for factory electrical equipment and to troubleshoot corrective issues to reduce downtime. The role covers E&I planning, project coordination with contractors, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–4 years of manufacturing experience and proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule PM plans for all electrical equipment and related machinery.

• Coordinate E&I activities, capacity planning, and liaise with contractors/consultants.
• Plan and monitor electrical works, ensure safety compliance incl. permits and LOTO.
• Maintain and update records and drawings related to electrical works.

Job description

Preventive Maintenance: Managing & scheduling PM-plan, job-plan for all machinery’s electrical equipment. Evaluate the PM method, objectives & necessities/priority of relevant items.

Corrective Maintenance: Ability to determine/justify and resolve CM issues and troubleshooting on all electrical/ electronic equipment and instrumentation devices. Capable of offering repair ideas/ solutions to get production equipment back on-line as soon as possible.

E & I: Managing facility’s capacities, i.e. power, compressor, cooling tower capacities. Maintaining / upgrading. Liaising/overseeing contract provider, i.e. crane services.

Project Management - Electrical: Ensuring all projects are in compliance to SuruhanJaya Tenaga Act regulations. Able to advise on proper cable sizing, laying method, protection, insulation, terminating & material choosing. Good in project cost budgetary/planning/executing & coordinating/managing with consultants/contractors.

Safety & Housekeeping: Aware of safety requirements and ensuring all jobs are in compliance to company’s safety regulations. Must be fully conversant with Work Permits, handling high voltage equipment, confined space entry, LOTO practice

Planning & Coordination: Able to plan, execute and monitor all electrical works. Must know what needs to be done with respect to project and electrical work requirements.

Data Recording: Able to maintain and update all related records, drawings pertaining to all electrical works.

REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

At least 3 - 4 years of working experience in Manufacturing / Production operations or equivalent.

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English – both written and oral.

Competent and able to work independently & resourcefully.

Think logically and systematically solve problems.

Strong leadership qualities. Willing to learn and take up challenges tasks.

Discipline, result oriented and able to work in fast moving environment or equivalent.

SALARY

Salary will follow the company’s salary grading structure and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
