Job summary

EVE ENERGY MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Management Electrical Technician to lead shift operations, oversee site safety, and ensure reliable power distribution for industrial facilities in Kedah. The role requires coordinating with TNB and driving energy efficiency initiatives.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least five years in electrical systems, knowledge of SCADA, energy metering, and strong Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malay communication

Qualifications

Job description

Management electrical technician shift, making shift arrangement and adjust accordingly to site requirement and staff personnel situation, ensure site requirement is met in all cases.

Lead and monitor completeness and quality of regular site inspection, rectify normal system malfunction, compile site inspection standard document, SOP and training document, and provide necessary training to technician, to ensure the electrical system operation in safety, stable and cost efficiency. Identify/report and rectify risk in transformation station and power distribution room.

Electrical safety management, take measures to prevent electrical safety cases from happening.

Make plan/scheme for fire fighting, continuous energy supply and electrical safety, and provide training for electrical technician, and organize corresponding drill.

Make reaction plan for power blackout, organize and evaluate safety level of important electrical equipment.

Make plan/scheme for site inspection, troubleshooting of electrical malfunction, SOP and etc, and provide training to electrical technician.

Collect and analysis electrical system operation data, make report on electrical system operation, troubleshooting and etc.

Management of electrical metering, fully understand metering topology, and follow up implementation of online electrical metering system, analysis of electrical power consumption, make standard for electrical power consumption and analysis power consumption data. Make plan for energy saving measures and energy efficiency improvement measures.

Make plan for plant’s power use.

Follow up construction project progress in power distribution room, supervise project quality, and construction safety, and follow up progress of system defect rectification.

Communicate and coordinate with local power authority, TNB for example, on company’s power supply and power bill’s related topic.

Bachelor degree or above,major in engineering, proficient in office software.

At least 5 years working experience in electrical system.

Knowledge in power transformation and distribution in industrial plants.

Knowledge in electrical safety, power supply arrangement for industrial plants.

Knowledge in electrical operation regulation, able to identify risk in electrical system operation, and able to handle normal electrical system malfunction.

Qualification in electrical system operation is an advantage.

Knowledge in energy metering and SCADA system.

Knowledge in energy saving project planning, implementation and energy saving calculation.

Experience in technical shift management, regular inspection and power restoration in case of power failure.

Target orientation, able to work under pressure, presence on site any time in case of emergency.

For normal construction or installation project in power transformation or distribution room, able to conduct progress/safety and quality control.

Ability to communicate and coordinate with local power authority, TNB and etc.

Good communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malay.
