Job summary

SGS is seeking a hands-on Assistant in Electrical & Electronics testing to support Engineers and Lab personnel in testing activities in Kulai, Malaysia. You will help receive and prepare samples, set up test equipment, and follow established procedures with accuracy and diligence.

The role requires a degree in Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, the ability to work autonomously, and strong teamwork and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Candidate should be capable of working independently and take responsibility.
• Strong teamwork and cooperative attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineers and Lab personnel in electrical and electronics product testing.
• Support sample receiving, preparation, labeling, storage and disposal.
• Assist in setting up test equipment and samples under supervision.
• Read and follow testing standards, methods and lab instructions.
• Record observations, maintain testing records and assist in reports.
• Support equipment housekeeping, calibration tracking and lab maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with SGS procedures, safety and quality requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Lab Manager or Engineering team.
