Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on E&E Engineer to support AGV testing, wiring, and system integration in field environments. You will participate in deployment at plantation sites, calibrate components, and troubleshoot on-site while collaborating with senior engineers.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Electrical/Mechatronics, a passion for robotics, and a willingness to work in industrial settings. Training will cover safety, tools, and integration with external systems.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Strong interest in robotics, automation, AGV, IoT, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work in field and plantation/industrial environments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to learn quickly and collaborate with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field testing and deployment of AGVs at plantation and industrial sites.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

AGV Testing & Deployment

• Assist with field testing and deployment of AGVs at plantation and industrial sites.
• Support AGV setup, calibration, testing, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Ensure systems are operational and ready for deployment.

Electrical & Electronics

• Perform wiring and electrical connections for AGV systems.
• Test and configure controllers, sensors, and other electronic components.
• Conduct quality checks on electrical and electronic systems.

System Integration

• Assist with installation and configuration of charging docks, sensors, communication modules, and other peripherals.
• Support integration between AGVs and external automation/IoT systems.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of AGVs.
• Assist in identifying electrical and system faults.
• Document troubleshooting activities, repairs, and test results.

Learning & Development

• Work alongside senior engineers to understand AGV operations and technology.
• Receive hands-on training in electrical wiring, testing tools, system integration, and safety procedures.
• Participate in troubleshooting and field installation activities.
• Work closely with junior and senior engineers across projects.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for system and process improvements.
