Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Technician based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, read schematics, test circuits and support PLC/automation systems.

Overtime may be required, with allowances and benefits provided. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and have 1–3 years of relevant experience or are fresh graduates seeking hands-on exposure in a dynamic maintenance

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
• Knowledge of wiring, control circuits and electronic components.
• Experience with PLCs, motors or automation is an advantage.
• Able to read electrical drawings and use basic testing tools.
• Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work overtime or shifts.
• Overtime allowance (if applicable).

Responsibilities

We are looking for dedicated and proactive Technicians to join our team as an Electrical & Electronic Technician based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment.

Diagnose faults and perform corrective and preventive maintenance.

Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.

Test circuits, control panels, sensors, motors and equipment using testing instruments.

Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, PLCs and automation systems.

Assist engineers with installation, testing and commissioning.

Replace faulty components when needed.

Conduct inspections to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Keep records of maintenance, breakdowns and spare parts.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.

About you

Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates may apply.
