Job summary

Maverick United Consulting Engineers, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, seeks an Electrical Engineer with 5–8 years of design experience to join our consultancy in Bukit Jalil, KL. You will prepare and review electrical designs and drawings, coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, provide site support, and assist with testing, commissioning and handover documents for local and international projects.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with proficiency in AutoCAD and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
5–8 years of electrical engineering design experience.
Knowledge of electrical power distribution, LV/MV, protection, earthing, and lightning protection.
Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, BS, MS, NFPA, and IET Wiring Regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering design software; strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review electrical designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, and documentation to meet project requirements and standards.
Coordinate electrical interfaces with architectural, structural, mechanical, ELV/ICT, and other engineering disciplines.
Provide site support, review contractor submissions, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical queries.
Support testing, commissioning and energization of electrical systems.
Review as-built drawings, manuals, and handover documentation to ensure project completion.
