Job summary

Pegaunihan Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. invites applications for an Electrical Controls Engineer at our Johor facility. You will design electrical control systems for automation equipment, prepare BOMs and assist in commissioning and testing.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; at least 1 year of experience is preferred. Diploma or Bachelors in Electrical/Electronic/Automation/Control engineering required; Mandarin ability is a plus but not mandatory.

• Guide on-site wiring, commissioning and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers for full-machine integration tests.

Work Experience

Education Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Automation / Control engineering or any related field

Language Requirements

Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is advantage but not compulsory (to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and colleagues from China)

Job Description

Design electrical control systems for automation equipment: schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC I/O layouts

Prepare electrical BOMs, component selection and cost estimates per customer specifications

Guide on-site wiring, perform commissioning and troubleshooting; assist in equipment acceptance

Coordinate with mechanical/software engineers for full-machine integration tests

Prepare and maintain electrical documentation (SOPs, maintenance manuals, schematics)

Other Requirements

Familiar with at least one major PLC platform (such as Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Omron) and capable of writing basic control programs

Able to accurately interpret electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams, with hands-on wiring and machine commissioning experience highly preferred

Understanding of low-voltage component selection and compliance with standard electrical safety practices

Excellent communication skills to work effectively within the team
